Hello Bees,
This is my first post so please be nice 🙂 I am letting my bridesmaids pick out any dress they want in a specific color. One of them found bridesmaid dresses on Target.com. Has anyone ordered these before? I’ve read all the reviews and they seem good only they run a size (or 2 if you have a larger chest) small. They are very affordable at $69.99 and I have found 5 of the same dresses at David’s Bridal for $120+. Just wondering any anyone has actually bought them. I do like the dresses because they don’t scream “I’m A Bridesmaid dress” if they wear it again.
Thank you in advance for any help!!

I’m curious about this as well! You can’t beat the price, especially for a dress you wear once.

My bridesmaids were not in Target dresses but sometimes if you go to the clearence section in target, you might find a returned bridesmaid dress or two. I spotted one in a dark green satin and just had to take a look at it. I was pleased with the quality. The one I looked at had a built in bra, lining, etc. The satin was actually pretty nice. I think it doesnt hurt to take a look at!

If you have a Target credit/debit card, you get free shipping. Could you order one to have one of your bridesmaid’s try it out for sizing, etc. and if you don’t like it just return it? I think if they look nice and do the job, why spend more than you need to.

I don’t have any real advice on this topic I just wanted to chime in and say that I think this is a stellar idea. I would love to rock a Target Bridesmaid or Best Man dress!

I ordered bridesmaid dresses from Target! I ordered 4, all different chiffon styles/colors. The quality seemed to differ from style to style, although they were all well made. 2 of the styles I ordered were “thicker” and had boning and padding, which was nice! The other 2 styles were essentially just fabric and lining, but those were the 2 styles that didn’t really need boning or padding. So definitely check the description if that’s what you’re looking for. They were all really pretty and true to color. But like I said, I can only speak of the chiffon styles! They did run a size small, but the great thing about Target is that you can return the dresses to the store and order more if they don’t fit! I ended up returning 3 of the 4.

we did bridesmaid dresses from target!!! We loved it!
It was nice bc I picked the color that I wanted, and let each girl pick whatever style (as long as it was short) fit their figure best and their budget. Some girls got theirs on sale for under $20 and others got the $50 ones…and everywhere inbetween. It was also great bc I had a pregnant bridesmaid and they have a maternity section for their bridesmaid dresses also!
In reality, no one ever wears the bridesmaid dresses again, and all they are good for is the pictures. Target ones work great bc it doesnt break anyones budget.

My best friend got our bridemaid dresses from Target. At first I was skeptical but she got them on sale for $20 each and my mom (who sews well) said they were extremly well made for the price and included a full lining.
I personally did not think they were my style (felt prom-like) but the dress itself was woth the value.
The fit was surprisingly impeccable – I only needed hemming!
I think it’s a really good option and I think they should expand their line because they are an affordable option expecially when you know no one is going to wear the dress again. I looked at them for my own wedding but they don’t have my wedding color unfortunately.
