I got my dresses off the rack. If your not stuck on the same style your girls would have a super easy time with Christmas being on the horizon to find a black dress in their size.

Have you thought about having your bridesmaids each find a black cocktail length dress in their size that fits their body type so you won’t have to worry about the dress being discontinued and they can still pick a style that they love and could possibly wear again?

Either Dessy or Alfred Angelo.

This exact thing happened to me. I told my girls (who by the way were just 3) to just get together somehow and figure out what they wanted to wear and let me know. This did NOT happen. I ended up going through a hassle to get my grandma to make them dresses and one of them didn’t even pay me for her dress. My advice is to say “wear whatever black, cocktail-length, non-slutty dress you want” and be done with it.

I love the dresses by Coren Moore (especially the one called Maggie!) I thought about ordering Maggie for myself just to wear as a guest to a friends wedding, but I would probably shorten it a touch….. or any of the bridesmaid dresses by Amsale.  Most of the Amsale styles come in long and short lengths
