So i have been dress shopping with my bridesmaids numerous times. I found a dress I liked and then got talked into still going to look for more. Then i found another dress I liked and felt pressure to order it and get it done. Looking at the dress online I think it’s too bright and won’t photograph well. I called the store and I can still change the color. My bridesmaids think i’m crazy. What do you think??

Is bright pink one of your colors? What are you thinking about changing it to?

I think the bright pink is cute. Did you see the colour in person, because it might be a lot different than you see on a computer screen.

I wore almost this exact color, ‘cerise’, in a wedding in September. The pictures turned out pretty good, but it is a VERY bright dress..

I like it. And you cann’t always judge by the pictures of them that are online or even in catalogs. When they do those photo shoots they always have funky lighting and it never really looks exactly like it will in your photos. I would see if the shop has another dress in that color in their shop. Or just see if you can get a swatch of the color from the supplier.
When we were ordering dresses for my friends wedding she picked a color on the computer screen and the lady showed us a swatch of that color and that totally changed our minds. So see if you can get a sample.

Thanks! Right now I am not attached to any color which is a good thing. I’m getting married June 2nd so I was going for the green, browns, and pinks but that can change. I saw the dress at the shop and I thought it was bright but they told me it was the lighting and because it is winter here (i live in MA). I took photo’s with my camera and they came out AWFUL. I’m wondering if the taffetta makes it look brighter than it is? And yes the color is cerise!

I will try to find one of her pro pics and post it so you can see how they turned out.
ETA: Just thought I would mention that when my family first saw the dress they described it as raspberry on crack. Take that how you will..lol
