I use eShaki for work clothes and a friend of mine is having her bridesmaids get their dresses from there.  I like it because it’s reasonably priced and you can customize certain aspects of their clothing like sleeves or length.  They do rotate out their dresses every two or three seasons so you may need to check every couple of weeks to monitor the sales and see what they are looking at discontinuing.

But I don’t know if something like this might be what you had in mind:

ETA: They do have a lot of items in cotton which might be more casual than you were looking for but the material is pretty well displayed… still I have gotten a dress or two and thought “oh hey, I didn’t realize this was cotton.”

Welcome to the bee!!

My bridesmaids are wearing knee-length chiffon dresses too, so when we were looking for dresses we stumbled across some really nice dresses from Target for $55 (they even come in plus sizes!!!)! How about these?

Another option is the J. Crew Juliet dress in spiced wine; it’s on sale for $79 right now:

I was able to find a local seamstress who will make the dresses, custom to each girl’s size, for $40 plus the cost of materials. I was able to get really nice professional-grade crepe-backed satin plus all the thread/zippers for $60/girl (and could have done it cheaper if I’d gone with something from Jo-Ann’s instead of professional grade fabric). Total = $100/girl and she’ll make a customized top, custom sizing, won’t need alterations, etc.

Chek Amazon.  They have a David’s Bridal shop, plus a ton of vendors.  The original dresses we were going to go with were swing dance dresses and they were only $46.  Just go to the dress shop in clothing, it will let you sort by size and color.
