My girls got their bridesmaid dresses last weekend and now I am stressed. My wedding plans have gone smoothly until now – two girls are pregnant, one of them will have the baby before and ordered a larger size for that reason. The other one had a whoops and is now pregnant and at my wedding she will be 22 weeks her dress fits her perfectly now so I am thinking it just needs to be let out a bit… now one girl either ordered the wrong size or the shop did, but it is maybe 4 sizes TOO SMALL. I am currently freaking out because I have never had this problem, things are usually too big for me and it is easier to take a dress in than it is out. I am thinking a seamstress may have to make a completely different back! Help!!! Anyone experience this before?!

Yes! The company we ordered from sent the dresses way too small – can’t figure our by now much because the size sewn in was the same as they tried on a few months before but the dresses didnt fit and didn’t match the company’s size chart. We had a miracle worker of a tailor fix both dresses AND the rouching by adding side panels – I had been really worried we were going to have to put in corset backs. I honestly don’t know how she did it. The only thing was we had some spare fabric to work with as a “shawl” type thing in the same chiffon was included. I’d say take them to a seamstress and keep an open mind – because I never could have believed they could have fixed our two and the week of the wedding no less!!!
You wouldnt know one of these dresses had a 14 cm gap at the back! (The other was about 5 cm)

goingtotherooftopoflove: Thank you! Those are beautiful! We are going to a seamstress next week and really hope they can do something, my wedding is 2 months away so we have time, but rather just get this over with!
