I’ve been a bridesmaid several times and only rewore one dress, and that’s because it was a short black dress.  It was strapless but I bought a cute bolero jacket to wear with it.

Like many other Bees, I donated my other dresses to a local school district to provide prom dresses to low income students.  While I wasn’t crazy about some of the colors of the dresses I had, I never had a truly hideous dress so I hope they went to good use.

Not quite the question, but of my bridesmaids, two have worn their outfits again, one would have done but she’s a child and sadly quickly grew out of it, and I’m pretty sure the fourth will never wear hers again even though she chose the style and it’s knee-length so less formal. A shame it doesn’t fit me because I’d wear it if I could!

I’ve been in 38 weddings. I’ve worn two dresses more than once. A short black strapless and a dark green silk number. All others were donated.

I’ve been in 1 wedding and I’m in one coming up in August. The first dress screams bridesmaid dress. It’s a heavy satin dress in an obnoxious fuchsia color. I might donate it to a prom dress drive. The dress I’m wearing in August is horrible too. It’s very form fitting and looks great on girls with curves. However, I like to describe my body type as an uncooked spaghetti noodle. I don’t have a form to fit. It’s also open back, and I’m very self conscious about the skin on my back. Lastly, it’s a very light dusty pink color. I’m way too pale for that color. Ugh.

I was in an August wedding, and wore a green dress, that cost $150 before alterations. I got it dry cleaned, and part of the decorations fell off. I ended up wearing it to a wedding as a guest a month later. Now it lives in my closet with a hot pink get ready robe (which is on its’ way to Goodwill).
