So last night my very best friend dropped out of the wedding. I understand her reason and am not mad at all. sad for sure but not angry at her. She has issues with anxiety and the thought of being in a room full of people she didn’t know scared her. Heck it scares me and I know or have met most of the people that are invited. My question is what are some easy ways to keep her involved the day of that won’t freak her out to much?

@00rubyred: If you don’t have a personal attendant already, that might be a good job for her. She can help you with your dress, gettting ready, hold your flowers during photos where they aren’t needed etc. You could still name her in the program and thank her for her help, even if she isn’t a bridesmaid. Otherwise, making her the go-to woman for vendor questions, directions or other questions on your day instead of you and your Fiance is a good idea too!

@00rubyred: Let her help you get ready with the other girls. There shouldnt be that many people with you so she shouldn’t be too overwhelmed. Invite her to breakfast with you that morning.

@00rubyred: I agree with personal assistant (though be careful of personal slave, not that you would ever do that)
Have her with you to help you get ready and sit with you when you get your hair/make up done!
