Hi Bees! I went with my girls today and picked out a super cute dresses for them for my July wedding. I was originally thinking I wanted to do a purple, or plum color, but loved the magenta swatch of the short Alvina Valenta dresses we chose.
I am not a huge fan of greenery, or white flowers in the bouquets.. and I seem to keep choosing “winter flowers” (i love anemones and sweet peas, but they are winter flowers!).
Has anyone chosen a similar color for their bridesmaids? What flowers did you use? All my Pinterest inspiration centered around a different color so now I am back to the drawing board. Any thoughts? Inspriation?

I’m not a big help because my girls didn’t wear magenta, but since you’re having them wear a very dark shade of pink, I’d stay away from pink flowers. You want them to stand out. My girls wore blue and their flowers were pink and purple.

Have you thought about dahlias? Those are summer flowers, and are so pretty:
Or maybe something like this:

@KC720: What other colors are you using with the magenta? Or is this up for grabs too?
I don’t know where you live, but I do know that local sweet peas would be available here in July. Check your local growers.
Here are some pics. I love the first one.

@julies1949: Thanks! I love the first one too! I was told that sweet peas would be out of season, but maybe I should ask an actual florist 🙂
I don’t have any specific colors in mind. I’m open to anything pretty!!
