I must have already written two posts about b’maid gifts already, but since I only have 3 and they’re doing so much for me, I want to treat them like queens (and one king) the day of the wedding and give them great, personal gifts.
I was pretty settled on getting my one bm a mini silver Tiffany bow necklace, but I’ve recently gotten very into Alex and Ani bracelets. I know she collects them too, and I could get her a few of them to make a nice “look”. However, there’s nothing like opening a little blue box, right?? We’re talking about a difference of $30, so it’s not the money. It’s value vs. a wow factor, really. 3 bracelets or 1 necklace.
Here is the Tiffany necklace and here are the 3 bracelets I had in mind. Which as a recipient would you prefer? I am also getting her (all of them) for the day of: some kind of getting ready apparel, a pashmina and flip flops for the reception. A little “day of” package.

I don’t really wear bracelets, but that necklace is cute 🙂

Nothing like a little blue box, very true! I am not a bracelet girl, so my opinion is biased. But the necklace can be dressed up or down, and can easily be worn for every day. I feel like the bracelets would be more on a matching the outfit basis.

Those bracelets look kinda cheap and not my style anyways.
So even if the necklace wasn’t Tiffany, I’d rather have that.

I think you should do the bracelets… pretty much because you said that she collects them, so it’s a personal gift for her. The blue box is fun, but the bracelets are more personal and she’ll most likely get more use out of them… plus they’re beautiful!

When Alex & Ani first became a big trend, I got tons of them and wore them frequently. I’m not sure if I was allergic or what the situation was for me, but they all turned my wrists green/blue and the bracelets are all discolored. My situation just completely turned me off on them even though I think they’re really cute on everyone else!
Because of that and the fact that I think that necklace is really pretty, I’d vote for the necklace!

Yeah I dont wear bracelets much either so Im gonna say the Necklace. I LOVE it, its so pretty and feminine. Cant go wrong. I find bracelets are a little more outfit picky too, Id like to get something I can wear with anything.

I’m biased because I have the necklace but… I’d definitely prefer the Tiffany’s to the bracelets you’ve featured. It may be that the latter just isn’t my style but I think there’s something timeless about the look of the bow.

The bracelets aren’t my taste, so I would do the necklace! BUT if you know she loves the bracelets, then I don’t think you can go wrong either way! Great and thoughtful gift ideas!

Thank you!! I guess I should always go with my instinct 🙂
The necklace will be nice too b/c I have one, so does my Maid/Matron of Honor and if I give it to my other Bridesmaid or Best Man, we’ll all have it.
Thank you again!!

I agree with winterwoodlandbride15
it sounds like the bracelets are more personal to her. Plus, like you said, three instead of one!
