Hello bees!!
Happy Friday!! I was wondering what everyone is planning on doing for gifts for their bridesmaids. I’m sort of stuck right now, and only have the idea of a Tiffany’s inspired initial necklace and a super sweet handbag.
That’s pretty much as far as I’ve gotten. I thought about maybe making some homemade bath salts and bubble bath, putting them in fun jars and making our own label for the bottle. I’ve also thought about putting something in there that would be sweet (homemade carmel popcorn came to mind!) I’m just sort of stuck!!
Have a great weekend, bees!!

Well, I am purchasing their bracelet (for the wedding) that I am putting in a gold jewelry bag, getting them flip flops, and a small tote with their names on it. Also, I am renting a suite with two connected rooms for the day before the wedding.
I so like the idea of homemade salt scrubs. I think I might steal that one!

I think all of those are WONDERFUL ideas!
I’m doing pashminas, their hair and makeup, a charm, and a tote with…well, homemade salt scrubs, etc!
I’m also debating getting them robes, but I think I’ll pass on that one.

I’m having cool totes made for them by a friend who has a silkscreening business and then filling them with a couple of little gifts inside (lotion, etc). It’s certainly a more useful gift than anything I’ve been given as a bridesmaid before and the bags are so neat, I’m having one made for myself. It’s not the priciest gift in the world, but I think it’s nice and since I’m not asking them to buy a bridesmaid dress (they’re wearing a little black dress of their choice), I think it’s all right.

I love the idea of a pashmina or cute clutch. But if you’re asking your ladies to shell out many bucks, think about a way to ease the burden a bit. I’m getting close to spending $1500 for a wedding I’m in this spring, so I’d LOVE some help with paying for my hotel or hair and makeup the weekend of the actual event.
Don’t get me wrong, I adore my friend getting married and she would do the same for me in a heartbeat. But everything added up is a LOT of money.

I bought my girls (2) black tot bags with their first initial in pink. Now i have to figure out what to put in them….
I also bough their necklaces and earrings. But they were with me when we bought them (we all picked it out together).

I am getting my maids their wedding day jewelry (earrings, necklace & bracelet set), some body spray and lotion and flip flops. I also purchases some little trinket boxes to put the jewelry in that will serve as a jewelry bos or trinket box. Oh and I bought some wet towlettes from Bath & body works to put in each other bags also so they can have handy the day of. 🙂 I am debating to shell out the extra bucks for a hotel room the night before.

I just bought my bridesmaid gifts yesterday. I got them both purses, but different ones, and I’m going to make up a little giftbag with chocolates and bath bombs to go with it. I also bought their dress, shoes, hairpieces, wraps, and am getting their hair done on the day. It’s fun shopping for them!

I think they’re so your heel doesn’t sink into the grass, down a hole (deck), etc…
