I am having such a hard time deciding on gifts for my bridesmaids. I have 9 people and they’re all SO different..Plus, now time & money are an issue…
What are some of you doing?

@alditt14: I would treat it like you were buying for their birthdays. The gifts don’t have to have anything at all to do with each other just make them relatively the same cost.
I don’t have bridesmaids but I got my 2 FSIL’s and 3 best friends one of these with their initials engraved. Spoon bracelets
$35 each from ETSY
i’m having 10 bridesmaids and they are all different too. i will try to personalize their gifts here and there where i can but i’m making them all a gift bag with just all kinds of fun stuff. i don’t feel like personalizing them when there’s a lot of girls is too big of a deal. they way i am personalizing things for them is gonna be throughout the wedding planning process… certain wines they like, colors they like… different things like that.
if they are all different and you have 10 of them. Why don’t you buy a spa/massage gift certificate for them? I’m sure all us lady hard to say no to a good massage/spa right?
@alditt14: Hi, just wanted to post a link to my thread (lots of pics). Might help with ideas? http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/let-me-help-you-cross-another-thing-off-your-list-bridesmaids-gifts#axzz2r5KATvSo
Good luck.. and remember, a nice heartfelt handwritten letter wouldn’t go astray either 🙂
What about something simple like go to walgreens and choose a gift card for each girl for something she would like? Walgreens has a million choices. Pop it in a nice handwritten note and bam, done. 🙂
I have 4 bridesmaids. I’m making each of them a monogrammed hanger, and a personalized note in a photo frame. They will all receive these things.
For a bit of personalization, I am also doing a piece of jewellery(all different) and giving them each a different gift card to a place they like to shop at.
Total cost is $50 roughly each.
Plus, I’ll be paying for their hair and make up which is another $80 each.
@alditt14: I guess if you want to get them all the same, then a gift card ist best. Or maybe some stuff from a place like Bath & Body works to pamper themselves?
I also like the idea from a pp, that maybe 3 of them are more alike and you can get them the same gift.
Because if they are soo different, they probably won’t enjoy the same style for a scarf / a bracelet / a robe…
I would definitly add a personal touch and add a little note/ short letter to each of them or a printout of a fun photo of you and the bm with a little note.
I honestly know nothing about any of them anymore lol So that makes it difficult too…
I have been collecting ideas for my girls. I think they’re all going to get personalized robes, a carved wooden jewellery box, and either a necklace (all different) in a personalized tote with their nicknames on them (so the robes will be monograms, the totes will be our geeky little nick names for each other.) I’m also paying for their make up the day of, and the jewellery they’ll wear. They can decide if they want their hair done professionally or not – at their own cost.
