- Wedding: September 2013
I have finally been making progress on my September 2013 wedding (got engaged August 2011). Just finished putting together my bridesmaid gifts and I am VERY proud! I got some fantastic deals by being patient over the last year and cannot wait to give these to my ladies! I have six BMs including my Maid/Matron of Honor.
I ordered my girls personalized totes from Vistaprint and waited until they were 50% and used a coupon code. Each bag was only $4.99! My wedding colors are white, silver/gold, and blush (shabby chic/romantic) so I will tie some pretty blush ribbon to the bags.
I signed up for coachfactory.com and waited for them to email me an invitation for their 36 hour sale. I got these in gold and some in silver. They were only $20.30 each.
I waited for a big online annual sale at Fredericks and got the girls each a silk kimono robe in bombshell pink (sale price $17.00 each). I ordered myself the white victoria secret “Bride” robe off ebay. I think these will look adorable for pictures the day off. I also ordered my sister and Maid/Matron of Honor a kimono robe from eBay that was only $12.99 and is white with a bombshell pink floral pattern so she will stand out.
I am paying for everyone’s makeup, hair and nails the morning of at Mario’s International Spas. They had a great special for under $100 each girl and my makeup/hair/nails will be free.
I got all of the girls random assortments of white & pink knee high socks in different patterns including: stipes, hearts, and plaid. I am going to also purchase them matching drop pearl earrings for the day of to include in the totes. I am working with a custom jewlerer on Etsy to take old broches/costume jewlery and make individualized bracelets for each of the girls in a shabby chic style.
I am so excited to shower the girls! I have a few coming in from out of state and we are doing alot of DIY so I really wanted to show them how much they are appreciated.
What do you guys think?
