So what are you getting your girls. I’ve searched this site and the internet already but I’m curious what people are actually giving.
I am going to do personalized hangers, but don’t know if this can count towards a gift. I may get them matching earrings for their dresses, again don’t know if I can count this towards their gift.
Thought about engraved mirror compacts with their name.
Did you also get your Maid/Matron of Honor something extra?
Even though this is my wedding I want something they can use another time, so I won’t put anything in relation to wedding, wedding date or bridesmaid on anything.

I’m paying for either their hair or makeup. Fiance and I are on a tight budget…I might end up getting them something small, like a necklace or earrings

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
I made mine emergency bag clutches (that probably can’t be used as actual clutches as they are STUFFED and look bulky when you carry them…), a necklace and bracelet set, and a hollowed out book to keep them in. So I definitely think jewelry for the wedding can count as a gift! I did a very small thing extra for my Maid/Matron of Honor – got her a Game of Thronse Hand of the King pin.

I have gotten my girls, flip flops in their fav color, a lotion and body spray from bed bath and beyond, the necklace and earrings for the wedding and it all will go in a pink bag with flowers that they can reuse. My Maid/Matron of Honor is gettig an additonal necklace, it is a small silver sugar skull (which she loves) and her initial (found it on ETSY)
Im trying to decide if I can get there hair and makeup done, if not both then I am trying for at least one.

I bought freshwater pearl earrings for mine. Plus I paid for their outfits… as is custom in the UK.

@asianbarbie: I got all my girls products from Bath & Body Works and am going to create gift baskets for them! They’ll each get a different scented set with a bath gel, body lotion, and body spray. They’ll also get a lip gloss and scented candle. Who doesn’t love stuff that smells awesome?
I did every basket with different scents, so they can trade off if they need to, too.
Also, I should say that I got everything from the Sale section, and got enough for 6 baskets for just under $100. Awesome deal!

@MrsSweetT: I think paying for thier hair or makeup is a great idea! Something fun and small to get them in addition is a nial polish! You can either buy them a shade to fit their unique personality or the color you want them to rock on your wedding day!

I made hangers with their names, but I’m also getting them each a necklace (not specifically to wear for the wedding) that is in keeping with their style, as they are each very different.
My two best friends and BMs (who are a couple) have been AMAZING during the whole wedding planning process, and their birthdays are both within a month of my wedding, so I’m planning to get them a Kitchenaid Mixer as a joint birthday present (they really want one) and as an extra Thank You for all the help they’ve given me with the wedding and for being awesome friends.

@asianbarbie: I made them emergency kits. Got them little patterned cosmetic bags and put their initials on them (you know those monogram patches that you iron-on?). Filled the bags with band aids, individual floss, sewing kits, deodorant, and I forget what else. And I also gave them bars of chocolate and pashmina scarves.
Funny thing about the cosmetic bags is that one of my BM’s used hers as a clutch last time I saw her at a party and I was thinking that I should have gotten myself one too.

@asianbarbie: I got them different coach wristlets, day of jewelry (earrings & necklace), and a bridesmaid survival kit (smashbox makeup, band aids, antibacterial gel, etc). I am also getting my Maid/Matron of Honor something extra. I’m making here a photo book of us through the years. she’s my cousin so I scanned in some baby pictures of us and stuff.
