Hey all! I have 2 bridesmaids, both my sisters, want to get them something really nice for taking the time to help out/stand up/be ‘maids, all while being students and having their own stuff to do!
Mom suggested Tiffany jewelry but I know both of them and unless I got them something way over budget (~$250 each), there’s nothing there that’s really their styles. The other thing I thought of was some cute shoes, but I’m leaning toward jewelry. Otherwise, I’m totally blanking on ideas!
Does anyone have any suggestions re: nice jewelry sources? What did you do/are you doing for your ‘maids?

I have my sister and SIL for my bridesmaid and Maid/Matron of Honor. I got them a necklace from Etsy. It had all of our birthstones in it, kind of like a sisters necklace.

I paid for a large chunk of the dresses for my girls, bought them monogrammed beach bags from LL Bean, necklaces, clutches, and 10mm 18K gold ball earrings.
I bought them from Blue Nile – the are exactly the same as Tiffany except much cheaper. Personally, I think that these earrings, which are also carried in white gold and silver at BN are really timeless. I also gave gift receipts to the girls to exchange them for White Gold after the wedding if they decided to do so.
The same earrings at Tiffany cost $500 (and these are only 8mm):
The same earrings at Blue Nile cost $145 and are bigger – 10mm:

I DIYed several things for my girls.
- Knotted Pearl Necklace, Bracelet, and earrings
- Tote Bags
- Hoodies and Tank Tops
- Wedding Hangers
And I also made their dresses and bolero/jacket and purchased their shoes, a Coach wristlet, and ID holder for each girl.

I am getting mine beer mugs with engraved mustaches. but that is just my friends and would appreciate something dumb like that. Etsy always has stuff or you can recreate it yourself on the cheap

I got mine a tote bag with a pashmina, cute travel makeup palettes, a clutch, jewelry and flip flops. My mom put $50 towards their dresses, too :).

I got all four of mine a Tiffany necklace. It might be a little weird for some, but I got them the Elsa Peretti bean pendant. I liked it b/c it is classic and can be worn with anything. I also loved the meaning behind it. The bean represents the origin of all things – to me that means it represents the beginning of my friendship with each of my girls as well as the beginning of my new life with my future husband.

I got my bridesmaids pearl stud earrings; classic and they can wear them with anything. I ordered them online through Anandia Pearls and worked with Eric. He is so knowledgeable about different types of pearls and was really wonderful to deal with. Highly recommended.

i got my girls jewelry from Brighton. they have tons of varying styles, and not only do I know they will like it to wear again, it eliminates the issue of me having to be picky about what they wear with their dress– it’s taken care of and they match! and not very expensive…i think earrings were around $30 and bracelets like $45

I bought wicked cute canvas box totes for wal*mart and filling them with survival kit type stuff and getting each one a big gift. 4 out of 6 are getting a coach wristlet that matched their style, my Maid/Matron of Honor is my sister and I still have to figure out what I am getting her. She loves shoes so I might get her a DSW gift card. My last bridesmaid is going to get a bridesmaid wine glass with a couple bottles of wine.

i did’t really give them anything. I paid for half the dress and either makeup or hair for the dayof. I do plan on getting then a nice framed photo of just us + wedding party.
I did find my jewlery here for 50%-75% less than other sites. They also have other things that may make good gifts- http://www.weddingfactorydirect.com/
See you this Sunday!

i had a tiffany and co themed wedding so all of my bridesmaids received a Tiffany and Co necklace….but it gets pricey. I recently came across this company that makes unique handmade charms that can be personalized and are really artsy and it came to mind that they would make great bridesmaids gifts. you can check out their line at http://www.jewelkade.com/leataliercio. they also offer a handmade photo charm….i plan on putting one of my wedding photos in one…afterall…i spent so much time, effort, and money…i might as well show it off for awhile!
