ah I LOVE IT! How are you decorating them? Jewels or puffy pant?? I would love some ideas for this!

I plan on picking up iron on rhinestones from michaels or acmoore…I want to put each girls first initial on the front and their role (bridesmaid, mother of the bride, etc) on the back!!! I’ve seen these iron ons at the craft store before so I’m hoping I’ll be able to find something perfect!! We are getting ready in the bridal suite at the venue, so I thought we would all be more comfortable in zip ups instead of robes!!

You’re welcome to do what you wish with them, but I have been a recipient of one of these “Bridesmaids Hoodies” Please do not write “BRIDESMAID” or “MoH/MoB/Whatever” on them.
That completely diminishes any use after the wedding. I will not wear a hoodie that says “BRIDESMAID” on it out to the store or when I’m going to the movies with my husband. With my own initial or something on it, sure, I’d have no problem wearing it.
But I can pretty much flat out guarantee that they’ll never be worn again if you attach their “wedding label” to it.

I agree with PP poster.
Don’t get me wrong, they are super cute! But it’s a total waste of money after the wedding. The only thing you can hope for is if they resell it for a couple bucks.

Thanks for the feedback – I’m giving the girls a lot of other things as gifts as well, this is not their “main” gift, therefore, I don’t need it to have much use after the wedding. I thought it would just be something cute for them to wear on the day of the wedding as we all get ready together. I’m actually planning on giving the sweatshirt to them at the bachelorette party along with a copy of the “Bridesmaids” DVD, and at the rehearsal dinner I am gifting them a custom wine glass with their names in their favorite colors, a makeup bag filled with some of their favorite products, and a picture frame with a picture of us (each frame will be a different picture of me and each bridesmaid.) So, thanks for the thought and feedback – if I was given one, I likely wouldn’t wear it after the wedding either, but I think it’s a thoughtful, fun idea for the day of the wedding.
