@Ms. Drgnfly:  haha that’s bizarre. she’s a pretty crappy friend. my friend just texted me yesterday and asked me to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man and I called her and, of COURSE, said YES! yes a million times. it’s a huge honor. i’d be glad to know now that she’s so shallow – i probably wouldn’t even invite her to the wedding!

@Ms. Drgnfly:  Just a quick thought: I’m not sure this will go so well, if you have now asked the sister to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man, even though she accepted. If ex-BM starts cattiness talking with her sister, you can bet who Bridesmaid or Best Man will side with. I guess it’s too late now but just be prepared that if ex-BM is a bit bitter over seeing her sister in the bridal party, she may create a few problems.

@Ms. Drgnfly:  UGH she needs to get over herself. You asked her before, things happened and now you’re just asking again. Doesn’t sound like much of a friend to me.

@luluvohn:  I just sent a text to my bridesmaids as well. Friend is upset for no reason. Sounds like an excuse, maybe being a Bridesmaid or Best Man is too much financially or some other issue. Sounds like an excuse. ๐Ÿ™‚

@Ms. Drgnfly:  ok, hold on, what? is she crazy?

Do you know what I did when I asked my Bridesmaid or Best Man and 2 MOH’s to be in my wedding?

I emailed them all on FB just like you did and said I made plans to go out to dinner and thats when and how i asked them.

SInce when do people of the wedding party get an invitation? LoL

Wow, seriously? For my Maid/Matron of Honor (my sister) we’d been in talks since I got engaged, then I sent her a message over FB clarifying that it was her and no one else I wanted. For the rest, I sent them all a FB message basically declaring how much I appreciated them all, and asked them. One declined because she’s due to have her second baby around the date of our wedding – which is perfectly fine – so the next person I wanted to have, I wrote it in her birthday card on her 21st birthday. Everyone else seemed over the moon to hear about it over FB.

This girl has issues and she needs to go.
