I guess her sister just got engaged and is getting married the weekend of the bachelorette party. I had requested my bachelorette party to be the weekend before the wedding, so my out-of-town bridesmaid could attend. She was going to come to Ohio for the week and visit her parents and such. I know there isn’t anything I can do as the wedding is certainly more important, but it still sucks.
My bachelorette party was going to be small anyways, since I don’t have many friends and the friends I do have live all over the country. Most of my friends will be at the wedding, which is what counts.
I guess I’m starting to get embarrassed about my lack of friends. Only 1 friend/BM showed up to my shower, and she might be the only one who shows up to my bachelorette party. Blah…I wish I didn’t feel this way.
Thanks for listening!

Aww, that’s sad but don’t be embarrassed!! I have lots of ‘friends’ (not boasting, seriously I’m not) but so far only have 4 people (including my mother and sister) coming to my shower in 2 weeks…if that makes you feel any better? I’m sorry she can’t make it, chances are she’d have more fun with you (LOL kidding), but try not to let it ruin the fun! 🙂

I’m sorry your friend isn’t able to make your bachelorette party, but try not to get too down. You’ll be able to see them all at your wedding! Only 4 out of my 7 bridesmaids were able to make my bachelorette party too…and while it stinks, it’s still your night to have fun and let loose. So try not to dwell on who isn’t there. Just focus on having fun and being with the girls who are there.

Don’t feel so down! It’s not you, it’s just circumstance and the day that matters most is the wedding day. Please don’t beat yourself up or feel embarassed!!!

=( aww It’s normal to feel bummed about something like that.
Just think about how much fun it will be to have everyone together for your wedding.

Hey, my bachelorette party was two people plus me, and neither were my MoH or my Bridesmaid or Best Man. It’ll be fine; you will still have fun!

Thanks ladies! It’ll be fun no matter who’s there and who’s not, I guess.

My bachelorette party is going to be small as well. It isn’t the number but the people that count. Enjoy yourself!
