Maybe you should make your cousin and aunt make more of a commitment like buying an expensive dress rather than just having them say yes. If it were my wedding and a bridesmaid were acting like that I would switch her out. You don’t need family as your bridesmaids. Two of my bridesmaids will be friends and one will be my future SIL. I would follow your gut.  If you have a bad feeling about her, I would perhaps nicely approach your cousin (over the phone if not in person; not on Facebook or email) and ask her if she really wants to be a bridesmaid.  You can be honest and tell her you aren’t feeling enthusiasm from her, and tell her you don’t want to force her to be in the wedding if she’d rather not be.  If she decides to back out or you ask her to step down, maybe remind her that there are no hard feelings.

I would be majorly bummed if I had a Bridesmaid or Best Man acting like that.
