I apologize in advance for any misspelling or grammatical wreck i may have, english isn’t my first language, sorry.
First of all i absolutly love love love all the bees and the page!!! But since i not getting married any time soon i have always follow the blogs only as inspiration cause i work around weddings and brides all the time.
But recently one of my best friends get engaged, and i had a valid reason to be looking for centerpieces, bouquets, decorations and bridesmaid dresses. Which brings the topic of discussion, one of the bridemaids is been quite difficult with the dress of choise.
See we are 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man and no Maid/Matron of Honor, so all the local Bridesmaid or Best Man (3), we’re trying to help the bride with the planning and sharing all the Maid/Matron of Honor responsabilies, and since we all work around weddings, catering and the hotel industry it has been a no brainer. The only problem we had have turns around the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. There is this one Bridesmaid or Best Man that live on the other side of the continent that has a very stubborn attitude and likes to have all the final word in everything and i mean everything!!! So it was no surprise that when the bride, with our help, decide on the infinty/convertible/two birds type of dress for the Bridesmaid or Best Man she immediately said she didn´t like it. Part of the reasson she didn´t like it is because she likes to be the center of attention, but that is too a main reasson why the bride choose this particular dress, so no Bridesmaid or Best Man outshide her and also because she saw some pictures and love that way the BMs looked uniform without looking all the same.
So this is our problem, now we are looking to how to deal with this Bridesmaid or Best Man. The bride is just frustrated with this and the Bridesmaid or Best Man is our friend but we have to make her understand that this is after all the bride´s day and we should be supporting her decision. Any suggestions?? Thoughts? We are overthinking this? The bride should give in and let her get away with it? Or we should be firm with her?
