I am getting married 6-1-13. I am having 100 guests, and I currently have three Bridesmaids. One Maid/Matron of Honor, one friend and my soon-to-be-sister-in-law.
I had three bff/college roommates. We lived together in a house our senior year. One of these ladies is my Maid/Matron of Honor. I would like to ask another one of my college roommates to be my bridesmaids, but the one I do not necessarily want to ask had me in her wedding in the fall.
Should I do myself a favor and ask both of them? Even though I don’t feel very close to one girl.
They are all great people and will be a lot of drama-free fun.
Advise please! I am over-thinking … thanks!!

So you would have 7 if you asked both? Personally I think that’s too many, but lots of people have even more. Can you just leave it at 5? Have neither and avoid any drama? I love my college roomies, but am closer with 3 other friends (and my sister and FSIL) so I just didn’t ask them but of course they will be at the wedding and have a great time anyway!

Personally, I would ask her since you are all good friends and if they would be drama free and fun, then why not?? Also if you were in hers then you musta be pretty close! But in the end its your choice!

@RunnerBride13: I think she currently has 3 and adding these 2 would make it 5….

People take this stuff really personally. If you were in her wedding and don’t ask her to be in yours, you’re likely to lose the friendship. Right or worng, that’s just how it goes. So something to consider.

Sorry – to clarify, I currently have three, asking the two other roommates would make five. Thanks!
