I am having issues with getting my bridesmaids to agree on a day to go out to try to find them dresses. Is it okay if they go seperately? Or is that too much gas?? I don’t know the proper way to do this. I am a first time bride lol

I had bridesmaids all over the atate and one 1200 miles away. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get any of them to go with me to try on dresses. We wound up choosing a style online that everyone liked and they ordered the closest size they felt comfortable with, then each of them had a seamstress alter it for them. It worked out great! I think it’s fine for them to go separately. It might be more fun to all go together, but I don’t think it’s a problem at all. Take lots of pics if you can, so that if you find something you can show the others.

@hogoboom2012 Okay thank you. I might try that. Five of my bridesmaids live twenty minutes from me and the other three live in LA so I thought it wouldbe easy but its not lol

Set a day. Those who come, help choose. Those who don’t, don’t.
Of course in these days of internet and digital cameras, you can take lots of photos and send them to the BMs who weren’t there, before making a final decision.

@Paula1248 I think you’re right. I think I am not being stern enough. I have been asking these girls for two months already and I am out of patience.

My bridesmaids didn’t even have a say in the dresses lol. I sent them the link where they could order them online and that was it…but hey I guess I’m strange lol
