Well, you don’t want them to be towering over you now do you? Depending on their and your stature, try to get them to see sense. Shorter girls are going to want a bit of height, they still want to look pretty right? The taller girls won’t want to appear out of place, so pumps or small heels. I am sure, if you speak to them, they will realise that it’s your day and you are the centre of attention. You don’t want 5 foot 10 bridesmaids wearing platforms lol. Stipulate a colour theme if you think you need to, if their dresses are floor length it probably won’t be an issue. If you’re buying, you get the say, otherwise just guidelines would be the order of the day maybe? Say, if they’re paying for their own, gems, colours, etc. They may not want to buy a pair of shoes that they won’t be able to wear again. Comfort is going to be an issue too, its a long day in high heels! Good luck.

I told mine to wear whatever but just to match the dress and or wedding.

But some people get all matching shooes or dyable shoes in dif styles but same color, so you can do whatever you want.

I told my BMs what color shoe I wanted and also specified that it be a dressy shoe, so no snears or flipflops or anything casual. I also wanted it to be a heel [dont care what heel height just as long as it wasnt flat] but one of my BMs says she hates heels so I said ok to any heel height

I think it would be fun to wear a color heel/dressy sandal in a color that is in your wedding… so if its pink or purple… find a shoe in that color! Looks great in pics… bright colors are very much in now so it should be easy to find something that hopefully all will like!

I’m doing sort of the opposite… bright purple dresses and a nude shoe… still trying to figure out if the shoe that I love for them they love too! It’s hard to please all! Good luck!
