I was wondering if anyone could recommend any bridal in northern NJ that has a good selection of bridesmaid gowns. I have already been to Macy’s Bridal, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Cache, Park Ave Bridals, David’s Bridal in the Wayne, NJ area. I have not been pleased with the selection at any of these places. I actually have already purchased by dress from Macy’s Bridal and found one or two possible dresses for the girls at Macy’s but I am just not crazy about them. I also feel that you cannot put 5 girls with completely different body types in the same dress and expect them to look good and be comfortable. I have agreed to let them pick their own material, but all of them have to be short (knee length) and the Maid/Matron of Honor can have a long length dress as she wants. I am looking for a black dress that they can hopefully reuse and looks really nice. Our wedding is the last weekend of June in 2014 so I do not want them to wear something that will be too hot but I have to admit that I am not the biggest fan of Chiffon and would prefer satin but I have already had to hear too many complaints from my girls and from the sales people at the bridal stores. So any suggestions would be helpful.

I’m actually going to Jaehee in Englewood today. I’ll let you know how it is! If that doesn’t work out, we’re going to Bijou in Paramus.

Went to Jaehee on Saturday. Overall good experience. We tried on a lot of dresses and finally settled on a 1 shoulder Bill Levkoff with a beaded belt. The girls were all really happy and we had our own private little area.
We made a day of it and went out for Sangria and appetizers before so it was just a great day 🙂

we got our bridesmaid dresses at jefre bridal on route 22 in green brook (maybe a little further south then you are looking for?) they have an amazing selection…the staff isn’t particularly helpful but their dresses are clearly sorted into short and long and by material so it’s not too bad to search on your own. we went in a huge group (myself, 2 MOH’s, 5 bridesmaids, and my mom) so we all had fun together! we went with different styles of bill levkoff short chiffon dresses, and they literally had 30+ styles to try on, which was great! hope that helps!
