I think it looks awesome. I would get some painters tape though for when you do the top bar. Put it above and below where you want to paint the bar. Also, for the name, you might want to get some stencil letters and paint over the letters that way. If you don’t want to paint, you could get some crystals and glue the crystals on. If you decide to do that I would use liquid glue that dries clear and not a glue gun. The glue gun would make it look lumpy. All in all, you did an excellant job. I would have never had the patience to do such a wonderful job.

Also, if you don’t want to paint the bar, you could use some glue dots to attach some ribbon and/or lace.

What about replacing the painted bar with a ribbon? I like the look of the colour there but I’m not sure if it’d look nicer with a little bit of ribbon stitched on instead of paint…. 

Otherwise I think it looks great. I’d look at stencils to help speed up the name process and maybe make a DIY stencil for the leaves to help speed it up as well but I think it’s a lovely tote. I’d love to get something like this as a BM!
