Don’t sweat it. Photographers can photoshop anything out, braces, tatoos, crazy exs in the background. They can do it all. I would not say a thing to the bridesmaid. You don’t want her to be self concious and NOT smile during the wedding. That would look worse than a metal mouth smile. As someone who spent the ages of 11-14 with a mouth full of metal, I can tell you I was self conscious to the point where there is not one single pic of me smiling during those years, which is really sad.

I really dislike the insurance game of adults not getting braces benes. I don’t understand why children are only entitled.
Yes, kiddies jaw and teeth are more malleable (though I doubt that is the case) so there is less total expense/time. But why not make a flat coverage rate of like $1500 available to any person. If my kids come out w perfect teeth, there will be no use of the bene to my family.
PS I acknowledge some of these comments may be threadjacks but this topic needs to get jacked up!

Crazy ex’s in the background… LMAO!! I was a bridesmaid in my oldest sister’s wedding when I had metal braces and I looked like I was trying to look tough… not one smile in any pics.

Yeah, totally threadjacking- sorry.
If I had done it any earlier it wouldn’t have worked- I still had teeth coming in! I would just have to get braces again. And honestly I didn’t even know some of those teeth were in there- I didn’t think I needed braces until some teeth started coming in and messed everything up.

Maybe buy her a pair of these to cover them up if you are that worried about it! they come in 3 styles so you wont have to worry about her braces showing.

This reminds me of that one time when I got married and my Maid/Matron of Honor was hit by a bus a week before the wedding. She had the nerve to show up at my wedding in a wheelchair with massive casts on each limb and half her hair shaved off because of where they needed to cut into her skull to alleviate the pressure. Ugh. I still get so angry when I think about it. I haven’t spoken with her since.

I hate you. I am at work dying. (I hope the actual accident wasn’t real though, how horrible!)

I can’t believe you still let her come to the wedding. I can’t imagine how much attention everyone paid to her instead of you.
