You can do whatever you want – it’s your wedding. 🙂 I’m having 7 too. Seemed like a lot to me as well, but they all get along so great I can’t imagine leaving any of them out.

I don’t see why not. But, think about what the Maid/Matron of Honor generally does. Would you BM’s split those duties? Would they give a joint speech at the reception? Would you arrange them by height to make it seem more fair?

One reason for having a Maid/Matron of Honor is to specifically help you and be your right-hand lady. I only had a MOH! lol. It’s just nice to have someone who is really responsible and can handle things for you, when you need them. And possibly your go-between to keep the other bridesmaids informed and on task. Plus, this person would be most likely be “in charge” to plan your wedding shower. But I guess, if they all work together well, it might be okay to have them all be bridesmaids.

I would love to have an Maid/Matron of Honor and at one time I did have one. she is having a baby and plans not to work after the baby so I dont want her to feel she has to pay for everything. my other friend is in the exactly situation in fact they are due within days of each other and my other best friend is planning on getting pregnant. she isnt yet but i have no idea when she will be. if she happens to get pregnant by our wedding then i dont want to stress her out. ugg this is killing me because you all are right a Maid/Matron of Honor is someone that should be there like my right hand. mmm idk what to do.

I’ve also heard of brides naming everyone the Maid/Matron of Honor. So maybe you could have five MOHs? You will need to dilineate your expectations so they know what you expect them to do, but it would be a great way to honor all of them!
