hmm is your sister MOH? I would hesitate to put anyone BUT the special Maid/Matron of Honor in a dress of a different length only because it makes them stick out so much more… like they’re on another level… like the Maid/Matron of Honor should be. lol

I had girls sizes 4-22 and I put them in flowy full length gowns with empire waists so everyone was comfortable with the draping of the fabric:

I think it went best because it sort of evened out the playing field… no ones legs & etc were being compared or anything and the girls said they really felt comfortable in them.

My wedding was really informal/casual at a barn, so I didn’t want matchy formal dresses anyway. My BMs chose a floral dress that they liked. They ranged from 4’11” to 5’11”, size 0 to size 12 so I thought it would be better to have them pick something they knew they’d look good and feel comfortable in. I don’t think that the matchy formal necessarily makes everyone look their best, so you have a lot of options! My BMs, for reference:
