When are you getting married?  I was in a January wedding where I sewed muffs for us to all carry.  They looked really cute and only cost about $6 a piece for supplies from the fabric store.

You can have them hold parasols.  Although it might make it more difficult for your photographer to photograph them.

I’m having my bridesmaids wear pashminas. They’ll kind of hold it while it’s wrapped around them, if that makes sense. At least, that’s the idea.

What about a nice clutch or evening bag- perhaps decorated with a flower or brooch?  It could also double as a Bridesmaid or Best Man gift.

I second parasols if you’re getting married in the spring or summer.  I opted last minute to change from bouquets to parasols and I’m so glad I did.  It made for some very nice pictures.

I did have my bridesmaids walk down with only the parasols.  Since I didn’t pair up the bridal party, I had the girls walk down with both hands on the parasol.  It looked nice and I had concerns if it would look weird too.
