I think it’s the actual color of green you choose.  I mean no one looks good in neon green.  Maybe take the girls with you to go look at colors and see what works better.  There are different tones of sage green too, i just googled it and found a few different tones.

Actually, when I have a tan, my skintone is olive, and I love yellow. I think like @HisIrishPrincess: said, it just depends on what shades of things you’re using. Also, at some point, you’ll have to just go with what matches your wedding. I angsted over this a bit, too, but when you’re dressing several people in one color, not everyone is going to be super thrilled about it. Just try to get flattering shades, and be true to your vision!

You could always do a cute grey or a pewter color bridesmaid dress and then have the flowers and their accessories be the pops of color.

I’m thinking my bridesmaid color will be some shade of blue and the boys in grey suits, but my Fiance is having two girls stand on his side for the ceremony so I was thinking it might be cute to find them some cute grey dresses so they will all match the boys and “show their support” for my Fiance that way.  And grey dresses can always be worn again!

ETA:  Colored sashes on grey dresses would be ADORABLE.  Just saying 😉
