I have always had in my head that I wanted Navy bridesmaids dresses. I love many of the Bill Levkoff styles but my only hang up about the designer is that the navy for Bill Levkoff is SOO dark! The new Bill Levkoff color Marine is also very pretty but I’m thinking it might look too “royal blue”. Wondering if my bees could help me and post some pictures of their wedding party’s Bill Levkoff Navy or Marine dresses so I can get a little better idea of how the two different colors come out in pictures? Thanks!!

The marine is a bit darker than the Regency, and lighter than the navy. I actually don’t think the navy is as dark in person as it is online. It is soooo hard to see the colors from a picture especially when you don’t know what the lighting of the picture is. I would try to go to a retailer of the dresses (they sell them everywhere). Most of the retailers have at least one dress available in every color so you can see what the color looks like in real life. The dress I ended up picking had the sample in Navy. I wanted plum, so I was able to see another chiffon dress in plum, and get the idea of what it would look like.

baileyjo1: I am having the same issue with the Navy vs. Marine. Which one did you chose and how did it come out? I have to order this week but I am totally conflicted.

Thislittlepiggy: I did end up going with the navy. In some pictures that guests took they looked quite dark however in the pictures from my photographer the color looks great. I loved them! Hope this helps!

baileyjo1: Great colors! I am pretty sure a friend of mine had those same dresses (strapless sweethearts) as her Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, in the same color too.
I thought they were dark too (the navy color, when I looked at them in store), but in that picture above – they look dark, but a soft dark so I don’t think it’s bad at all!
After reading the comments, I liked Regency too… but I thought it was more of a purple than a blue (according to what it looked like online).
