LOVE this dress! Sorry, don’t know where to find. My only thought is that, as a woman with an ample chest, this dress would be a bit too low of a V for me. You would see about 4 inches of clevage. For strapless dresses, you could always add straps, food for thought.

i know you are getting married in charleston (love it, i got engaged there) but im not sure if you live there – i found these stores in charlotte that carry the brand – not sure if they have the exact dress but it might be worth it to call and see – we are only 3 hours from charleston – easy day trip

I agree with magilnyc that this is a lovely dress, but it IS really low cut.  Are all of your BMs tall?  Flat-chested?  Then it might not be as big of an issue.  I’m short and busty, and I know if I wore that I’d feel very uncomfortable unless I had a tank top underneath.

I am using that line for my bridesmaids. They tried that style on but all ended up choosing different dresses. It is a little low cut if anyone is very endowed up top ๐Ÿ™‚ but it is very flattering. It came up higher than in the picture. It is one of the older styles in that line and Alfred Sung just came out with new styles so that might be why you are having difficulty finding it.

There are actually a lot….is that the watermelon color or dahlia? You have a lot more options if it is watermelon….

There are so many it is easier to just give you a link to his site..
D447 and D444 are probably the closest to the dress you like but there are a few versions that are very covered up top.

Would you consider sewing in a modesty piece (lace or something?) to make the dress less revealing? I think it’s lovely, but the cleavage issue is definitely one to consider.

P.S. I moved the post to bridesmaids board.

They all come in papaya, it just doesn’t come up for some reason when you search pink. Didn’t know if you noticed that….good luck. I know bridesmaids dresses were a pain in the butt for me also because of different body types. That is why I ended up going with this line because there were 16 different dresses.

@MrsPinkPeony: I’m not exactly a seamstress, but I’ve seen this feature in some low-cut wedding gowns. Basically, cut a piece of lace and sew it into the neckline to make the V-neck less severe. Any seamstress or alterations person could do it. Or, instead of lace, you could use a color that complements the dress.

Sorry if I’m not explaining this well. Does that make sense?

P.S. You wouldn’t have to use something ruffly like in the photo; it’s just the first example I could find online. ๐Ÿ™‚
