Here are some pics of my general decor and the dress i will be wearing. What do you think i should do for bridesmaids gowns? We are getting married October 20th, 2012 in the distillery district downtown toronto.
(cream/peach instead of pink)
I was thinking about someything like this from davids bridal, but i dont know if it looks too summery…

I love october weddings! The pumpkin lined isle is so great! I like the color of the bridesmaid dress. if you feel it looks too summery, do they have a long style you like?

They have a really similar style in a long version, but i dont know if it looks funny longer?

Nope, If you give them the flowers that are “rustic” like I’m sure it will tie in wonderfully. That or I reccomend a pale earthy green.

I like it. Slightly prefer the shorter version.

I love the short version. I’m getting married in October, and my girls are wearing knee-length dresses, too. Super pretty colors you’ve chosen.

I love the short dress. I don’t think it looks too summery. Women wear similar cocktail dresses all year round. The wedding will be inside, I presume, at that time of year in Toronto.
You could always buy your attendants a pashmina or cute cardigan to fend off the chill between the ceremony and reception.

I think it looks great! If you are worried it looks too summery you can give them a shawl or pashmina to go with it! That way they are more covered up if they want to be!

oooh love the pashmina idea. Maybe a rich chocolate brown? I was considering making flower purses like DDurango did for her girls. I have attached the pics… I would do cream or brown version… What do you guys think?
