So I definitely have the colors down. I’m sticking with black, white, and yellow. Since my previous post, we decided to just buy white satin chair covers for the ceremony and hope to sell them to another bride after, it seems like everyone we know is getting married around the same time. I was all set on getting yellow bridesmaids dresses for the girls, and I found one that I think would work for everyone.
and I even found a $20 off coupon, so it’s definitely doable within a college girl’s (my MOH) budget. But as I was looking around the boards, and I saw so many black and white dresses, it’s kind of my new obsession. FH is worried about a giant sea of white with the chair covers and me, so I was thinking about an ivory. I came along this dress, it also has white and black in the pattern and, most importantly, it comes in size 0 to 14, so it’ll fit all 3 of them. What do you think?
(the coupon works for it too)
So far 2 out of 3 have both agreed (the 3rd hasn’t gotten the email yet) but I basically have the best bridesmaids. They all said as long as it’s not $500 and they aren’t falling out on top that it’s my decision. (Which can be a little dangerous for me)

I really like the first one. I might have to order it in black for myself. I really love it! And they can wear it again, total bonus.

I think the yellow might be nice to bring a little color into it, instead of just another shade of white/ivory. If you do decide to go white/black, I think I would go with a black dress to break up all that white :).

We had considered going with a black dress originally. The 2 girls with a black sash, and then the Maid/Matron of Honor with a sash in white, but with the lighting in the venue, and the amount of black we’re using in the reception, it just didn’t look summery enough. I’m wearing a white chiffon one shoulder dress with a black sash, and it just didn’t look right with them in solid black, we’re trying to stay away from the standard bridesmaid dress look too. The white chair covers are only being used for the ceremony, which is on the roof, so there won’t be many other decorations to clash with.
Tksjewelry, I really liked the dress for myself too, that’s part of the reason why I picked it. I was thinking about getting it in purple for when my FH’s commissioning ceremony.

And here are 2 more I was looking at from Nordstrom
and we would replace the bow with something yellow for this one
If you haven’t noticed, my goal is $75 or under. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I like the first one better. My concern is with the length. May sound old fashioned, but if you have any tall bm’s they may feel a bit off in it
