Outlet Malls! http://www.premiumoutlets.com I found dresses at BCBG max azria for my girls. They were 100% silk and only $39/each! BCBG is excellent about calling their shops across the country to get you the sizes and amount you need. They’ll even hold the dresses so that your girls can try them on before you purchase them. Sales are final though. I’ve even seen some of the Ann Taylor bridesmaids dresses available at the outlets.

Alfred Angelo dresses are EXTREMELY reasonable. My girls wore beautiful "espresso" halters which they all loved and some of them have already worn them again!

I would check out their dresses, and keep in mind, you can have them altered if there’s an element you don’t like, but you generally like the dress. For example, the dress my girls wore was floor length with a belt with a rhinestone buckle, and I had them get it altered so that there was no belt (just got rid of the belt and snipped the little loops) and knee length with a crinoline. They were awesome! And even with those alterations, the dresses came to under $200 because the base price of the dress was $115! Good luck!

You should think outside of the box though if you’re looking for a bargain. This is the perfect time to shop for deals on bridesmaids dresses because stores like Macy’s are stocking up big time with more selection and sizes for the holidays. If you wait till after the holidays you’ll even be able to get them at a discount. Depending on the formality of your wedding and the sizes of the girls you should also consider dresses from Forever21 or Honeymoon. I’ve purchased several dresses from Forever21 in the past that ended up popping up in catalogs such as Boston Proper for four to five times the cost it was at Forever21. A little secret many people don’t know is that there are clothing items that are sewn by the same factory and then they simply affix a different label on the dress for different retail stores. My friend’s mother manages one and she had an order that was filled for Forever 21, Mervyn’s and Nordstrom’s all with the exact same dress. For cheap shoes, look into Fioni’s at Payless, many of them are identical to Chinese Laundry.

I went to http://www.camillelavie.com and came across a few very nice dresses.  They were around $120, so very affordable, but some of them are trampy and some of them are very promish….I found something in between for my gals.  Good luck!
