When I was a bridesmaid a few years ago, the bride picked out a dress from the the Bill Levkoff collection.  Then she told us which one she wanted and we each went to different local bridal shop that carries the brand (all the bridesmaids lived in different citites).  The shop then ordered it for us.

I, too, had this issue…. There’s also House of Brides if they have them available in your area. I just went with Davids Bridal anyway since it was the easiest and most convenient.

The Target ones have really bad reviews. I saw one in person and it looks really cheap. I’d look at designers like B2/Jasmine, Mori Lee, etc., and see if your girls can get somewhere near them to try those on, and then order from weddingshoppeinc.com or some place like that.

@ShannonBree84:  This site has a lot of designers and great prices so your girls could try them on in store and get measured and then just order them through the site…

We did Alfred Angelo because a lot of boutique bridal stores carry the bridesmaids designs. I have girls in 3 states.

I have girls in three states also; we’re going with Allure dresses.  I’m buying their dresses since they all have to travel to the wedding (as in buy plane tickets kind of travel).  The other designer we thought about going with is Alfred Angelo.

Most bridal shops will let girls phone in their measurements if you want to order through a particular store.

@ShannonBree84: Depending on where you purchase themm.. The local bridal boutique that I’m getting all of our wedding attire from actually has an online form for the wedding party to input their measuremeants and pay for it. That way the bride can pick out whatever dress that she would like and then they’ll order them with the BM’s measurements that they submit. It will be a huge help for our out-of-town best man.
