I’d send emails and ideas and encourage them to try some on and let you know what they think.  After you get some opinions, just make the decision and let them know what you choose.

As long as the dress you choose is obtainable in multiple cities, and you give them a deadline to purchase by, you should be good to go.

I would send some ideas but keep it minimal. when i first started lookin i sent out so many emails that on of my Bridesmaid or Best Man actually got angry…*sigh* If i were you I would pick a few that you really love and then give them a choice out of that…:)

I think im just going to pick a color and a fabric and let them have at it…give them a deadline and done…I had my Maid/Matron of Honor and one of ther bridesmaid try some on without me (Just like you all of them are WAAAY out of town) and it was kind of a disaster because they didnt quite understand exactly what I wanted…and some places didnt even let them take pictures. UGH.

SOOO…im actually going to go check out some bridesmaid dresses tomorrow to make a decision on color and fabric…and then let them know they can get any style they want so they should go try stuff on.

I will be using a bigger name…ie alfred angelo…mori lee…bill levkoff….something that everyone can go check out…and they will report back to me what they have decided…and when I approve I will order them all at once from the same store to obtain a 20% discount…and I also want all the dresses to be cut from the same dye lot so there is no color variation.
