I don’t have pics but I’m doing coral dresses on the ladies and grey suits with a light mint green tie on the guys, I’ll be happy to post pics in about 6 weeks lol! I think as long as the colors go well together it would look nice!

I also don’t have pics, but my bridesmaids will be in purple maxi skirts and ivory tops, and the groomsmen will be in grey suits with ivory shirts and green ties.

DoubleA903:  I am so glad you posted this!  Recently, my Future Sister-In-Law invited us to take pictures for my future nieces prom.  We went to a pretty popular place and saw a bunch of prom couples that were matchy matchy (dress to tie) and I realized in that moment that I do not like that at all. My taste is by far more refined than high schoolers and I couldn’t imagine being so matchy.  My girls are in different shades of fuschia and the guys will be in black taxes and gold ties.

DoubleA903:  Love that color scheme.  So much you can do with it. I also love the bridesmaids in the different colors.

We’re going for unmatched. My bridesmaid dresses are turquoise and I cannot find ties in a matching shade, so I decided a completely different colour was better than almost matching… flowers are pink, yellow and orange, so groom is having pink and the rest of the boys are having yellow. I found an image on google when I was trying to visualise – hope this helps!

DoubleA903:  Remember, prom is where the guy’s vest matches the dress… a wedding is where they just need to compliment each other.

I think it would look cool- just depends on which colors- if both colors are bright it might look a little sesame street-ish… but like a pale or neutral with a bold with look nice! You want complementary, not clashy 🙂

Scou:  yay! We got them from o.co actually for like $20 each. I’m still waiting on most of our pics but I can post this one! It reminds me of a men’s warehouse ad lol!
