My birdesmaids dresses were only sold online as well (Mine are gold glitter dresses that were not sold in bridal salons, and came from Dillards). They’re usually spot on with size charts online and an exchange is usually pretty easy!

I had to wear a BM dress for my best friend’s wedding and got the wrong size, it was no problem to exchange it, so I wouldn’t worry! Your BM dress looks just like the ones in the bridal salons and it’s a great price. 🙂

Go for it! After looking everywhere I bought my MOH’s dress at H&M!! I think a lot of the bridesmaid dresses are marked up for the convenience of having so many color options and if you love the color I would recommend it. My MOH’s dress was only $60 and 1. I didn’t have to feel bad asking her to spend $200 for her dress (plus alterations) and 2. It leaves so much room to customize it in any way or get some amazing accessories! GOOD LUCK!

@skellison236:  Hi! My 7 BMs got their dresses from Target.

I’d give them overall a 8/10. I would DEFINITELY suggest buying from them as I personally feel it’s terrible to make your BMs wear an ugly EXPENSIVE dress. At least my ugly dresses were cheap lol!

Pros:

  • SO cheap. They often go on sale too.
  • they’re the actual color you see online- more acurate than “dye lots” of many dress manufacturers
  • They arrive in a week.
  • they have petite and plus
  • returns are so easy. Have the girls literally order 3 sizes, then they just go to their local Target store and return them. It was no issue at all. Orders over $50 I believe have free shipping
  • cute styles

Cons:

  • shit quality (my particular ones). read the reviews!!!
  • the fit was SO weird on the one dress I ordered
  • BUT  isn’t every BM dress shit from China? I mean, really. So why make them buy some $170 Dessy dress they will NEVER wear again?

Wow it’s Saturday night and I just wrote a 15 minute review about Target dresses. I am pathetic.

I actually just ordered a Target maxi chiffon dress for my reception dress (not the same style), and I found the sizing to be a tad bit off.  I’m normally a 0 or 2 in street clothes, and bought the 2.  I was swimming in it!!  It was also about 5 inches too long (I’m 5’2).  However, otherwise, it is great quality and I’m really looking forward to wearing it!  I definitely recommend Target–just get a great seamstress.

Oh man. You are an awesome bride. That dress is great and so cheap! Assuming it’s halfway decent quality, I would even wear it again to a wedding or office party. I say go for it. Target is great for returns and that’s a pretty forgiving style if the size isn’t quite right.

2. The quality was not good

Actually, there are a lot of directions for measuring the sizes, and if you have any thing not clear, just contact them directly, generally,it will be suitable….

Of course, you should always keep an eye on it,and you provide the right size, and thjey wrongly make the dress for you, that is their fault..Embarassed

You would be the most badass bride ever if you got the dresses from Target :-p As long as they photograph well and don’t look a mess in the pictures, that is all that matters: they don’t need to hold up forever!

Go for it, I got my girls’ dresses at Old Navy. They are perfect and were a whopping $10.

Since they were the last dresses in stock I had the girls use the sizing chart and pick the size they thought would work. Somehow they all fit perfectly.

I actually really like those.

If you’re worried about sizes, you could always order the two sizes you think you’re inbetween (or rather, the two sizes the bridesmaid is inbetween).  Returns are easy- you can return “extra dresses” at a store.

I’m a BM in an upcoming wedding, and we all ordered different “chiffon” dresses from Target..They were awful. If you’re thinking they’re going to be the usual flowy silk chiffon, you’re wrong. They are TOTALLY satin nightgown material. The MOH actually ordered the one you posted, and she literally looked like she was ready for bed. I got one of the strapless ones, and despite it having some weird built-in “bra” it had ZERO support. We all returned them and ended up finding some pretty silk chiffon Donna Morgan dresses from Nordstom 60% off.

Are you all near a Target? Maybe they can take a little road trip and try on a similar dress to get an idea of how the sizes run.

Do it. There’s nothing wrong with it at all. I got both flower girl dress online for 30 bucks at Macy’s. Well worth it.
