I refer something lasting so they will think of you every time they wear it- like jewellry.

Or maybe personalized chucks or Toms shoes

I’m sort of making a ‘gift bag’ for my gals. I made them encrusted wine glasses ala this thread, bought them all silver pashminas to wear for the wedding and then another in our color scheme for them to wear later, and I’m writing them each a personal letter to thank them for being my good friends and being there for us on our big day.

I’m sure they’ll enjoy some wine in their new set of classes, stay warm in the winter with their new scarves, and keep that letter for longer than any of it 🙂

Here’s what I am planning on doing:

  • Organizing Utility Tote from Thirty One (they normally cose $25 each, but I am having a party and am hoping to get some of them free or at least some percentage off)
  • Waffle cosmetic bag
  • Travel size items from Bath and Body Works (shower gel, lotion, fragrance, and loofah–all for $12)
  • Dermalogica chap stick and cleansing cloth (my sister is an esthetician, so I get a discount from her).
  • Gold knot earrings from The Limited (they were on sale, $10 each)
  • Necklace–still deciding which one!
  • Gold flip flops
  • Personalized insulated beverage cup

My mom is paying for their hair and make-up, but we are asking them to tip for their services. Of course, if they don’t want to get their hair and make-up done because of the tipping, I won’t make them. I’m doing a lot, but one is two hours away, one is four hours away, and two are 2,000 miles away. I know it’s costly for them, so I want them to make sure that they feel appreciated.

Well I am giving them jewelry to wear the day of and tank tops. And I bought the material for thier dresses (they paid for their dresses though). That was all I could afford really.
