I have three bridesmaids, and a wedding of about 90 people. My bridesmaids are all easy-going as am I, and I am not requiring them to do anything for me leading up to the wedding..no events to plan, to money to spend, etc. I am covering the cost of the dresses, and have asked that if they want hair and makeup done, that they cover it themselves.
Having said all that, what do you think of these as gifts?
I am planning on giving each lady a satin clutch in the wedding colors (chocolate brown with a taupe removable flower for use after the wedding) from Etsy with each of their names embroidered inside + a vintage locket (something I am loving these days!) from Etsy + a custom Etsy sterling silver bracelet that will include their birth stone, thier initial in a heart charm and a leaf charm to represent my fall wedding.
Is this enough? Or am I expected to do more? I’m just new to bridesmaids (never been one!) so I’m not sure what is expected.

I think that is plenty! Especially since you purchased their dresses. We have a small budget, so I was planning on making my bridesmaids earings, a necklace and a little pouch to put it in. I was also going to get them flip flops and dress them up a bit so they could wear them for dancing later in the night.

Those are lovely and thoughtful gifts! Your maids will be please and touched by them; really, really lovely!

Is it enough? I think it is more than enough. Makes my shabby gift look horrible. What a cute idea to buy purses and fill them with unique items. You are so thoughtful. I was personally going to do personalized metal reusable water canteens from zazzle.com. Now I feel ultra lame. Looks like I need to check out etsy. Thanks for the great ideas.

@RobotBabooshka: I think reusable water canteens is an awesome idea! I almost did that, but went in another direction. It isn’t a lame idea at all… you know what your ladies will enjoy, and that is all that matters.
