For my Best Friend/Matron of Honor I’m getting some classic fabric covered books. They have Treasure Island, Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Wonderland etc. beautifully covered in fabric for only about $13 apiece. She’s a true book lover and she is now pregnant (although I chose the gift before I knew she was pregnant) so it should work out nicely. I will probably get 4 of them for her.

For my FSIL/Bridesmaid (she’s 18 and in her first year of college) I am getting a personalized leather bound journal. She is a girl that has everything she could ever want/need so I had to be a little creative and I thought this was really pretty, unique and heartfelt.

My sister/Bridesmaid is soooooooooooooo difficult and as much as I don’t want to I think we’re just getting her a gift card. It’s something she really needs (she’s making a lot less money than she was when originally bought her house so times are tough).

I’m not sure what we’re getting the junior bridesmaid/flowergirls yet. One of them is a true girly girl so I just got her the pearl bracelet and ring that they have at David’s and her mom isn’t very crafty so I’ll probably gift her some stuff from the craft store that she doesn’t need her mom’s help with lol.

beach totes, beach towel, wet bikini bag, picture frame, VS Aloha Pink beachy body mist and lotion, and jar of cookies…we’re having a beach wedding so everything is beach themed…except the cookies, but they are contained in a super super cute jar with our wedding colors.  Who doesn’t love cookies!

I am not sure how much you want to spend, but I was thinking about getting my BMs a Flip Video Camera.  I decided not to since 50% of them have an iPad 2 or iPhone 4 which have the video feature, but I still like the idea!

For my bridesmaids I bought them a really nice bracelet from vera wang collection and I was also thinking of buying little bottle perfumes from vera wang also.. Most of my bridesmaids will have their hair down to the side so I was also thinking of getting them some hair pins (no those cheapy looking ones that looks like you just put dots in your hair), or hair combs.

@cabanagrl9: I think that is such a great idea!  Too bad it didn’t work out for you.

I was poking around the internet and found some affordable items on Tiffany’s… I am particularly fond of their crystal bowls.  I figure that anyone who gets one would hold onto it for a long time, since it’s just a nice piece to have, period.  Plus, who doesn’t love getting a little blue box as a gift??

I’m doing a wine theme for my 4 bridesmaids.  So far I’ve purchsed wine totes from http://www.maptote.com and wine stoppers.  I will also get them each a handpainted wine glass and a nice bottle of wine.  In addition I may get them a cardigan or pashmina for the ceremony since it will be outdoors in early October.

if you are looking for something a little less traditional perhaps you could get them :

-giftcards to their favorite restaurant (with a bottle of wine if it is BYO)

-treat them to a spa day (extra afforable if you use groupon or livingsocial deals),

-purchase subscriptions/memberships for them that go with their interests (museum membership, favorite magazines, movie passes, rockclimbing gym passes, wine or tea of the month, cooking/pottery class, etc.)- tailor to each sister

I actually am getting mine black Coach wristlettes to match their gowns. I plan on putting something inside as well, but I just can’t seem to think of what yet.

I also was considering getting my maid of honor a pink wristlette to set her apart. It’s also her favorite color, and the color of my flowers.

@Mrs.KMM:   Adorable!!!  I’m not even a wine drinker, but would LOVE this gift!
