Just wanting to hear some ideas for bridesmaid gifts from you all. I have my sister, best friend and my fiance’s two sisters.
I was thinking about doing a ‘bridesmaid survival kit’ with a bunch of fun stuff and then maybe getting them each a necklace for something they can actually use after the wedding.
Any other ideas?

I thought about rings with something engraved on them or a coach wristlet since there is a Coach outlet near our “destination” wedding site.

I got each of my girls a black tote with her name embroidered in red, and then I filled it with fun things like picture frames, manicure kits, etc. I also got them each their jewelry for the wedding day, and they’ve all told me that they’ve worn it since the wedding (it was pretty simle and elegant).
I think your idea is great, and as a Bridesmaid or Best Man, I’d enjoy receiving it. 🙂

I wanted to keep things simple, but then I basically went overboard. I just really like giving people gifts. Each of my girls is getting a clutch made from upholstery fabric (which I got from Etsy), a necklace with a small freshwater coin pearl (also from Etsy), a pair of foot petals for their shoes, a Yankee Candle that smells like buttercream to remind them of our cake, and a vintage owl brooch. All the owls are different, all with different color eyes, and I got them from – you guessed it – Etsy. Owls are sort of a thing with me and they all know it. Every time they look at their brooch, they will remember this time that we had together.
That is my only real advice. Find something that is memorable and personal, even if it is personal to you and not them. Those owls were only about $10 apiece, but they are very specific to me and my wedding. If that were their only gift, I think they would be enough.
Whatever you choose, write a heartfelt note to go with it.

My advice would be to give your BMs something THEY would like.. and not something you just want to borrow :-p I got my BMs body butters, body washes and lip butters from the body shop in scents that THEY loved (I tricked them into telling me)..I am buying them the make up from MAC that they use on the day of the wedding..I bought them a clutch for the wedding.. but thats more for me than them.. and I would like to get them a candle from YCC.. if I can afford to.. (already had them pick the scents also! lol)

this is my maids gifts…. to wear for the wedding, so maybe its more for me but i thought it would remind them about my wedding when ever they wear it. its such a timeless classic piece they can wear for a long time. it goes with anything from a LBD to jeans.

I got mine necklaces with an anchor and pearl on them from etsy. I got my brides-man a flask with an anchor on it.

I got my girls cozy fleece robes from Lands End, Coach clutches and earrings that matched their dresses. I also had them wear the robes for our getting ready pictures. They have told me that they still use the robes and love them. The Coach clutches were about $30 on sale at the Coach Outlet. The matching earrings were $3 each from Etsy and they were beautiful! The robes were on sale for $20 each.
