I did semi-personalized bags for the entire bridal party (FI would have procrastinated until it was too late if I left him to do the groomspeople on his own).

For my bridesmaids, everyone got:

Candy

Drinking vessel (one got a straw cup, 4 got wine sippy cups)

Lip balm

Mini hand sanitizer

Some people got cute keychains, some got coffee mugs (MOH1 got a farting coffee mug because we’re overgrown 5 year olds), puzzles, little books, toys, 4 got mini bottles of moscato (one of my bms hates wine)… I can’t even remember what all is in the bags.  (They’re at my in-laws’ because they have room for storing everything and we don’t.)  Most of the BMs also got nail polish.

For the groomspeople, everyone got straw cups, candy, mini hand sanitizer, super hero magic towels (the ones where they’re shrink-wrapped into a tiny shape and then they expand when they get wet), some got t-shirts, one got fuzzy socks in our wedding colors (Best Lady), mini coloring books, notepads, pens, post-its, one is a Brony and got a My Little Pony thing… I tried to make sure that everything was fairly personalized toward each person, though.  Most got toys and stuff, too.  Somebody got a geode – I remember buying it but can’t remember whose bag it went in.

I’m also doing smaller bags for our usher and usherette.

Probably not the way most people do things, but I think everyone will like what we got them.

futurephdbee:  They are boxes. I grabbed the boxes from Target along with gold foil letter stickers and stuck them on the lids of the boxes then wrapped them up with string.

I’m doing a necklace and earrings, a picture frame with a thank you note in it and after the wedding I’ll mail them a picture of us, an Alex and Ani style bracelet specifically for them (i.e. Different for each maid), and PJ’s to get ready in!

  • Wedding: August 2015 - Southern Plantation House

I was on a pretty tight budget with the entire wedding process, so my gifts were pretty simple compared to some of the others on here. However, my girls all loved them and genuinely knew how much I appreciate them!

I got them each a robe of their color preferance. They all have told me that they continue to wear it on a daily basis, which makes me happy. Next, I found a shop on Etsy that creates custom candles so that you can specify the specific scent you want. The candles come in a square, glass container with each girl’s name and meaning on the front. The girls looooooved these! I got them all scents that suited their personality. Lastly, I gave them each a pair of South Sea pearl earrings.
