Hello Bees!
I’m not quite sure what to get for my bridesmaids as thank you presents. I have paid for their dresses, jewellery, and will be paying for their hair and such on the big day. I also want to get them together for a home spa / girly day to thank them for all of their help.
I still want to get them gifts though and I am not sure what to get. Two are students, one university the other high school; two other are older (mid – late thirties) and the other is a new mom. So Bees, any thoughts?

I suggest giving them different gifts if you have trouble finding one that everyone would like. I bought all my ladies each a satin robe in their favorite color, and then a small personalized gift for each of them based on their interests. They seemed happy, though they are the polite types so who knows 🙂

I gave everyone a tote with their names embroidered on them. I figure anyone can use more tote bags! Not to mention they came in VERY handy ont he big day as they all carried them while getting ready, to the church, etc.
Here’s a link to the shop on ebay where I bought them. They do great work, not to mention at a wonderful price! All the gals loved them.

I got my ladies thick furry luxurious floor length bathrobes with their name embroidered on it. They all loved it! And I wish I’d gotten myself one, haha.

I’d say what kind of gift you give depends on how much you want to spend. It sounds like you’ve already spent/done a lot for them.
You can put together a little basket with chocolates or a little manicure kit with a handwritten note.
I just painted the initial of each of my bridesmaid on a canvas bag and stuffed it with a Coach wristlet, a handwritten note, some foot scrub/lotion, a travel blanket (since they were all coming from out of town), and a travel manicure set. I’m not sure if that’s helpful? They all really loved the Coach wristlet.

I got the girls earrings to match the wedding colors and a purse to match the shoes.

this is the purse and below is the shoes that match

Each girl bought these shoes and the dresses match one of the shades of pinks in the shoes.

I got my girls a canvas bag embroidered with their initials. And I filled it with spa/beach-themed items (beach towels, flip-flops, manicure kit, etc.). They loved them!

Hi mkathleenwhite, I am doing the same as you – paying for dresses, shoes, makeup, jewellery, hair for my bridesmaids. I wanted to buy them a gift that showed them appreciation without breaking the bank. I decided on photoframes with a note in the photoframe saying that they could pick out a photo of themselves with their partners from the wedding and we would blow it up to put in the frame. We are also telling our photographer to make sure she takes several photos of the bridesmaids with their partners so they canhave a few to pick from.

@samanthajkellie: That’s a great idea, we are having quite a few frames in our decor so it would go with everything really well. Thanks
