So i have 4 Bridesmaids… and i want to do something cute, nice and fairly inexpensive but I just am drawing a blank.
they are all different ages and into different things.I thought I would do maybe a few little things and one nice thing.
The only thing I have snagged so far is I got some really nice 100% Organic Aloe Plumping Lip Gloss and Some Bees Wax Lip Balm. For each of them it I love this stuff and I got it at a steal it originally $4.99 & $5.99 the book store was going out of business and had boxes of it for 40 & 50 cents! Unfortunately they only had 2 colors & flavors of each …. LOL I snagged a few for myself too

I’m getting my bridesmaids a jewelry set necklace and earing so that they all match. I know it’s not very unique but I can’t think of anything else.

I’m getting each of my 5 bridesmaids a vera bradley clutch.

I got all my bridesmaids a Dooney and Burke leather wristlet. For brides that have awhile until the big day a great idea is to go to a Coach or Dooney outlet the day after thanksgiving. I got each wristlet for $30.00! Perfect. Lots of choices for $30 and under (coin purses, luggage tags, checkbook holders, wristlets, etc). Good luck!

Mine are not very unique but they fit within our budget. I made Swarovski crystal earrings that matched the dresses, and bought ivory pashmina wraps (it may be cold on the wedding day), Burt’s Bees lip gloss sets, bath and body gift sets and shower gel in the wedding colors for each girl.

I’m not doing anything matching and they’re in charge of their own jewelry and accessories. However we’ll be shopping for our attendants as though it was Christmas or their birthday and getting something that fits each person’s individual interests. Haven’t picked out actual gifts yet since we have plenty of time to do that, but that is the criteria we will be using to select them.

I”m getting all 6 of my girls, and my flower girl monogrammed waffle weave robes. They’re going to be in the pale shades of their bridesmaid dresses – pink or green. I’m getting a white one. The plan is for us all to wear ours while we get ready on the big day!

I also wanted to do something very nice for my bridesmaids and this is what I am at so far:
1). Put $200 towards each dress
2). Having custom clutches made – different clutch for each girl
3). Having custom gemstone earrings made – different earrings for each girl
4). I fell in love with letterpress during the invitation process and am having custom letterpress stationary made for each girl
5). Giving each one a Flip Video camera.

I haven’t decided on everything for certain yet. So far I plan on getting them each a pair of flip flops that coordinate with their dresses to wear during the dance, a brown pashmina to wear with their blue-green dresses and jewelry.

I haven’t decided for sure, but I’m thinking of getting them a “survival kit” for the day. It will be a tote with their monogram on it, lip gloss, flip flops, gum, and anything else I think they might need that day.

I’m still a little up in the air about bridesmaid gifts, but this is what I’ve got rolling around in my mind so far:
*a handmade hand bag (all personalized to fit each girls personality)
*a Tiffany’s inspired initial necklace (I’m also getting one for myself to tie us all together)
*a “Little Miss” shirt (for each personality: Little Miss Giggles, Sunshine, etc.)
*homemade bath salts and bubble bath
*something sweet (carmel popcorn)
*custom made compact mirrors with a little caricature of themselves
These are all of the random things floating through my head. I haven’t nailed down any yet. I just want to spoil my girls!!

I’m definitely going to make my maids’ jewelry, but I think I might also knit some slippers for them. I might pick up something that is special for each maid.

I’m paying for their hair styles, I bought their shoes, and I bought them matching necklace/earring sets on Etsy. Here’s the seller I purchased the jewelry through… they turned out beautifully!

I made each girl a tote bag, put bridesmaids emergency kits in, an ivory pashmina, a necklace from dogeared.com different for each girl, handmade pearl earrings and necklace for the day of, silver clutches, and I’ll put some snack foods and a thank you letter into the bags when the day gets closer.
