My Maid/Matron of Honor is throwing me a bachelorette party (“of a lifetime”) in Hollywood. Three of us are carpooling down, one is flying in and two more are driving separately. I was thinking of making little goodie bags for the weekend.
- Trashy magazines
- Ring Pops
- Bottled water
- Mini Bottles of Alcohol
- Shot Packets
I am pretty sure most of it will be eaten, drank or used. But before I go ahead and buy all these things I am wondering if I shouldn’t be doing this since I’m not throwing the party.
What would you think if a bride made goodie bags like this for you? If you think I should go ahead and do it, is there anything else you think would be fun to add?

I think it’s really cute! I don’t think you’d be stepping on anyone’s toes by doing it. It could just be your “thank you” for coming.
My friends are the snacking type, especially when we’re drinking/in the car/on vaca, so the only thing I might add is a snack or two 🙂 I think it seems great, though!

@Captain013: I would talk with the Maid/Matron of Honor about it. Its supposed to be a party for you, but as a recipient of the goodiebags I would enjoy it. Your Maid/Matron of Honor might be upset though, if she sees it as you saying she couldn’t come up with something like that. If I were your Maid/Matron of Honor I wouldn’t mind, but I can see where some might.

I think I just voted wrong…. I chose the last one, but when I initially read it, I thought you meant “I wouldn’t mind at all” And “Who needs free booze?” (I read this sarcastically and though, EVERYONE loves free booze, of course!! 🙂 ) Maybe chat w your Maid/Matron of Honor about it? I’m sure she’d love it.

Okay thanks everyone. Ill ask Maid/Matron of Honor and go from there.
@MalbecMe: hahaha yes these girls do too! 🙂

I think it would be very sweet of you. Hopefully she won’t mind (I’d be surprised if she was upset about it)!

I think it’s a nice gesture, but would clear it with the person who’s throwing it first. I would be really sad if I threw a party for someone and they brought their own favors. I’d feel insufficient.
