Ok so I’m in the process of looking for boutiques to have my girls buy their dresses but everywhere is way way too $$. Just like me my girls are on a budget- But of course there are online dress shops with decent prices that my girls can afford… I need y’alls opinion on buying the bridemaids dresses online.. do it or don’t????

I think you should go for it. Alterations can always be done later and the size charts on most websites are usually pretty accurate.

Try weddingshoppeinc.com. They sell legitimate designers. You could go try them on in stores and then order online. The salon near me has Dessy dresses for $300+ and they are like $180 on that site. It’s a real brick and mortar store too, I’ve heard many good things about it.

I would talk to your bridesmaids about it. I would hate to buy a Bridesmaid or Best Man dress online without trying it on because it seems like things never fit quite right. I (personally) would rather hit up David’s Bridal or even a local department store than take such a huge risk!

How about going and trying them on in stores and getting a knockoff from one of those sites like jasmine bridal or dressilyme?

Have you tried taking your BMs to a department store instead of boutiques to look at dresses? You may find better prices for formal dresses not labeled as Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses

I’m having my girls buy from netbride.com. I’ve read great reveiws, they have actual designer dresses, and they have great customer service. It sounds like the prices are the same as the place Pinkmoon mentioned. I’m having my girls try the dresses on in stores (to pick the styles they like) prior to ordering.

I ended up getting the bridesmaid dresses that my sister had bought for her own BMs but she ended up buying other dresses haha. Just so happens that she bought the right sizes and right amounts of them.
If I had to choose all over again, I’d probably choose these convertible Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from Etsy!.. Looks too easy

I tried on a dress at the store so I could get th size right. Then I ordered online. Saved a lot of money this way.

One thing to keep in mind is that even if the ladies all order the same dress they might not all be of the same dye lot. So, the colors might be slightly different. If you’re not too concerned about everything being matchy matchy (not many brides are these days – also I’m not sure if any companies have HUGE variations in their dye lots anyway) then I say go for it!

Oh, also, sorry to post twice, did you buy your dress at a particular boutique? Sometimes they’ll cut you a deal on the bridesmaids dresses (mine was 15%)
