I think that so long as there is some unifying factor (color or style, or fabric) that you’re fine. People are going to be paying more attention to you and your Fiance, anyhow.

I just decided this myself this past weekend.  My Maid/Matron of Honor is much more comfortable in a full length dress, however my two BM’s wanted knee length.  So they have all choosen their own dresses, but they are ALL in the same shade of eggplant, all by the same designer, and all the same material!! Everyone is just so different and I really just wanted them to be comfortable.

I have the same problem with my bridal party. 6 girls ranging from size 2 to 22 and ages at least 15 years spread. So I let the girls that wanted the short dress that I picked have them and the girls that felt more comfortable in a tea lenght have that. Being in wedding parties myself I wanted my girls to be happy with their dress and actually want to wear them. My color is coral that I stuck to. I think it will be fine. I’ll post pics after the wedding if you want to see how it turned out. 72 more days!
