@BeckyS0:  I can’t help you much I’m sorry but I am saving this thread to see what other bee’s come up with.

If it were me though, I’d probably look on eBay instead of pin up girl clothing for a vintage reproduction dress, not a skirt.

I didn’t look for your colours, I just grabbed a few dresses on my watch list on eBay ๐Ÿ˜‰ Don’t forget you will need to allow another $50-ish for a petticoat otherwise they won’t have that silhouette. I dress like this everyday ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good luck xxx

@BeckyS0:  haha really, how funny. Oh okay, if that is what you are going for, awesome. Hahaha yep definitely need a petticoat ๐Ÿ™‚

I order all of my clothes off eBay, not even joking. I definitely know what to look for now, I would say that first one, the one you have pinned, will be a funky synthetic silky material. I have bought a red dress from that same shop and it was stretch synthetic, not silk / satin like I thought. Most listings actually tell you what material it is though, so that shouldn’t put you off.

I would highly recommend this eBay store, I love their stuff.

They don’t seem to have any skirts like you are looking for though.

This would be a cotton skirt and you can order more than one of them / customise what you are after…

Hope that helps a bit. I love eBay so I am a bit biased, but it so cheap and easy ๐Ÿ™‚

What if you asked a seamstress to make really simple circle skirts in your colors? I think it might be cheaper and a lot easier for you that way. They shouldn’t be too complicated to make.

@BeckyS0:  That sucks, I see you’re from Humboldt, so yeah I figure you don’t have a ton of seamstresses to choose from up there. I’m in Sacramento, sometimes the Bay Area, so I’m so used to just yelping or googling wherever I am and having so many choices.
