(Closed) Bridesmaids not carrying flowers, should I carry flowers?

    No, it won’t look odd.  You’re the bride.  It’s ok to be different than the bridesmaids.

    I think it would be odder  (word?) if you held a parasol as well.  Flowers are definitely the way to go.

    Carry whatever you want. If you prefer a parasol, then do that. A bouquet is not a requirement just because everyone else carries one.

    I recently went to a wedding where the bride had nothing and the bridesmaids had parasols, still looked great!
